Nov 11, 2019 · Now I have been presented with an option to buy the newer k24z7 with way lower miles and only $60 more. Before I pull the trigger i wanted to see if there was anyone that has done this before and if there is any compatibility or mounting issues. Have been searching the forums and have not found anything regarding a k24z3 swap with a k24z7.

May 3, 2011 · The K24Z3 in the TSX is basically identical to the K24Z7 civic si engine. The K24Z3 in the accord has some differences, between the other two. (cams, pistons, programming)

Feb 9, 2023 · The k24z3 from the Acura TSX is nearly identical and has the same compression as the k24z7 from the civic SI and would have no trouble doing a swap if mine was a tsx but I want to know if somebody already did this without doing anything except the swap.

But anyways I wanted to ask you guys if you know the difference between the k24z2 and the k24z7 cylinder head because the looks of it, they look the same.

I will be throwing K24A2 cylinder head onto my Z3 block (with modifications) along with a K24Z7 (9th Gen Si) transmission that has not only 6 gears, but also a Factory LSD. I'm looking for around 300whp with those mods and a bunch of other supporting mods.

Sep 26, 2021 · Some K24Z7 civic SI guys had it as high as 7800-7900 rpm but I think some people eventually broke valvetrain parts, I don't remember which particular part was the weak spot. It's also generally not advised to change the VTEC engage point unless you also tune the VTC angle since the cam phase needs to be prepositioned for the high cam.
