Dec 5, 2015 · As said, you'll need pistons and rods at a minimum. If you're doing that than either the K20 or K24/K20 would work for 600hp. The difference will be in the RPM range, boost response and the torque delivery. K20 will have more RPM range and lower initial torque K24 will have more torque and less RPM Personally I would do the K20.

Sep 14, 2022 · For a big turbo circuit track build, you might consider inconel exhaust valves, but only if you are chasing the big numbers, i.e. 500 wHp+ Getting monster power out of a K20a2 with forced induction is one of the most easy things to do for a reasons. 400HP turbo k20 is essentially DIY in your garage without the need to even open the engine.

May 24, 2021 · Most turbo dynos I have seen of K20a2 engine show an almost flat torque curve from 5000 or so rpm to like 8000. An k20a2 yielding 400Nm would normally also develop about 400HP. It seems this set-up was either tuned oddly or runs a very restrictive exhaust system.
