If you ever want to upgrade your K20 bottom end/head or go to a k24 bottom end this will be one less thing to change and will help out. Search the build threads, you'll see people using the 70mm TB on stock engines with no problems.

Aug 15, 2013 · The best way to find out if your TB is too small for your IM plenum is to determine what the intake manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor is reading (in the plenum) when you are at full throttle ( or wide open throttle (WOT) ) while the car is accel using a datalogger.

Jun 4, 2010 · I put a cabled 74mm TB on a totally stock K20 engine; it was transition matched to the intake manifold using a throttle body spacer. The throttle body spacer was "venturied" from the TB's 74mm outlet to the stock 64mm manifold opening going into an non-ported intake manifold.
