Sep 11, 2011 · BMW twins - too rough, even with the revised heads. BMW K1600 - too big, and that wide, exposed crankcase looked expensive if the bike was dropped... So, I test rode the K1300GT and felt the gearchange was better enough to warrant the expense of selling my K12. The K1300GT I bought was 18 months old with just 2500 miles on the clock.

May 16, 2011 · Yes, I would agree that there have been some issues with the K1200/K1300 in it's product lifecycle. Most of which have been corrected, improved upon, etc. leading up to the K1300GT, which is nicely sorted out. I am on my second GT, and would buy another. Impossible to know really how many problems there have been.

Jun 13, 2010 · The K1300GT pulldown is "+$43.28", making the total (not shown) = $111.80. Interestingly, the K1200 models are "+$37.88". I wonder if they are selling an older DVD that applies to the K1200s but not the K1300s ??
