X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy - Wikipedia
X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) is a surface-sensitive quantitative spectroscopic technique that measures the very topmost 50-60 atoms, 0.01 um, 5-10 nm of any surface. It belongs to the family of photoemission spectroscopies in which electron population spectra are obtained by irradiating a material with a beam of X-rays.

Potassium X-ray photoelectron spectra, potassium electron configuration, and other elemental information. Charge referenced to adventitious C1s peak at 284.8eV. It is often quicker to acquire C1s region and extend range to 305eV to capture the K2p region. K2p peak has clearly spaced spin-orbit components (Δ chloride =2.8eV).
KXPS - Wikipedia
KXPS (1010 AM) is a radio station licensed to Thousand Palms, California, United States. It previously broadcast a sports radio format. On May 26, 2022, KXPS began promoting a "change is coming" on June 1, 2022. [2] . On that day, the station went silent and its sports format moved to KJJZ - HD3 as "102.7 The Fanatic". [2] .

Thermo K-alpha XPS - IMS Materials Characterization Facility
The Thermo K-Alpha XPS uses a focused beam of x-rays to eject electrons from the near-surface region of a sample in a vacuum. The energies of those electrons are characteristic of the elements from which they came and the specific chemical bonds that involve those elements.
