JWJ guitars are hand-built, individually in a small workshop in rural Shropshire in the UK. Each high-quality piece of tonewood gets matched to each other by sound, look and feel to create truly unique instruments.

About - JWJ Guitars
The aim for JWJ Guitars is simply to produce professional, hand built guitars at a great price. By keeping the standard range simple with options for body wood and neck profile I can focus my efforts on getting the best possible tone and feel from each instrument.
Select Series - JWJ Guitars
The Select Series currently comprises two guitars, an Orchestra and a Slope Shoulder, in our favourite specs. Both guitars have Honduras Mahogany back and sides and feature ivory celluloid binding and herringbone detail.

Tonewoods - JWJ Guitars
Sitka Spruce: The most commonly used wood for acoustic guitar tops and for good reason – it’s strong, close grained and tonally versatile. If you’re mostly a strummer, this is probably the best soundboard wood you can get, but it also serves well for flatpicking and finger picked styles.
Neck Profiles - JWJ Guitars
As all of our necks are hand carved to order it’s still possible to make further adjustments to suit your needs. The older ‘C’, ‘D’ and ‘V’ profiles are available on request and we can even try to copy the neck profile from your favourite guitar. STANDARD Nut width: 43.5mm String spacing: 36.5mm Depth at 1st fret: 22.5mm
