Light on the nose and palate, this fleet-footed whisky is fruity and tropical with Key lime pie, lemon zest, forest floor, and a little prickle of spice. The finish, while short, brings additional earth to Jura’s malt. (Release date: 10/23).

A 40-year-old Jura single malt bottled by Douglas Laing for its Xtra Old Particular range. Aged for over four decades in a single refill barrel, this elegant old whisky has a sweet and spicy character. The nose gives aromas of vanilla, tobacco, spices and toffee.

This spectacular 40 year old Jura single malt whisky was distilled on the 12th November 1966 and bottled as part of Whyte & Mackay's Rare & Prestige series in 2007.

Distilled December 1976, bottled June 2017, from one Refill Barrel - DL REF 11795. Natural Cask Strength, Natural Colour - No Chill Filtration. A fresh distinctly malted nose opens with vanilla, spices, tobacco and toffee. The tongue tingling palate is gingery and sugary, and moves to an interesting finish with molasses, smoke, spices and late oak.

Distilled on the 12th of November 1966 and bottled 40 years later, making this oldest Jura ever bottled. Presented in a delightful leather box, this is the top of Jura's output.
