Dr. Qiang completed medical school, Internal Medicine, and Endocrinology and Metabolism training at the University of Toronto. Dr. Qiang is passionate about improving the lives of thyroid cancer patients. She was the recipient of the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) Fellowship Award and the Peter Gilgan Centre for Women’s Cancer Research Award in 2021 for her work examining thyroid cancer recurrence and cardiovascular disease in thyroid cancer survivors.
