Juab County (/ ˈ dʒ uː æ b / JOO-ab) is a county in western Utah, United States. As of the 2020 United States census, the population was 11,786. [2] Its county seat and largest city is Nephi. [3]

Jun 5, 2023 · A statewide initiative has been filed to repeal SB31 and restore the Utah state flag and will be presented to voters in Utah for their approval or rejection at the next regular general election on November 5, 2024, if residents are able to gather the required number of signatures.

Jan 18, 1995 · Juab County needs a new flag. The old county flag was hand-made and one of a kind. County officials have contracted with Colonial Flag for a new U.S. flag, a new state flag and a county flag to fly over the new county public safety building.

Jun 14, 1995 · Juab County will have a new county flag. County commissioners have agreed to adopt the flag that received the most votes while it was on display in the county center.

Juab County was formed in 1852, including portions of what is now Nevada. The size of the county was reduced in 1854 and 1856 along with various other changes through the years until the curent borders were set.

During the Juab County Fair, the American Legion Post 1 holds a special Flag Retirement Ceremony to show honor and respect as we retire the flag of our nation. 🇺🇸 This ceremony serves as a solemn reminder of the values our flag represents and the respect it deserves. 📸 @kyleejoannphotography . .

Juab County is home to the Ute Stampede Rodeo held every July. This event is a three-day celebration offering parades, a craft show, a car show, marathon and golf tournament. The rodeo offers world class competitors and great family entertainment.
