The Junkers Ju 52/3m (nicknamed Tante Ju ("Aunt Ju") and Iron Annie) is a transport aircraft that was designed and manufactured by German aviation company Junkers.

The Ju 52/3m is a three-engine development of the single-engine Junkers Ju 52/1m of which only six were built. It could by equipped with floats or skis instead of the wheel landing gear. The Ju 52/3m was produced after World War II in France by Amiot as the AAC.1 Toucan (ca. 415 aircraft) and in Spain by CASA as the CASA 352 (ca. 170 aircraft).

With the selected moderate wing loading, the Ju 52 had excellent and secure flight characteristics. The wagon-like box-hull with its large side walls demonstrated the aircraft as a railcar in the air, while the double wing allowed a low landing speed for tight and bumpy places.
In the late 30's when the Luftwaffe had enough modern bombers, the Ju-52s were assigned transport duties. The first Luftwaffe transport group was established in 1937 and when WW II started the Luftwaffe had 552 Ju-52/3ms in four groups. The Ju-52 served over all fronts in large and growing amounts.
