Dec 31, 2018 · Right click one of the pictures which won't display, see what the file type is. Compare it to another picture you imported before that displays. Go to Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Set default by file type, look up the file type and associate it with Photos app or your preferred viewer. Also set that viewer under Set Default by App.

I get the following message: "The specified procedure could not be found" Weirdly enough, if I right click on the file and use "open with" and chose the default Photos app it works.

Oct 30, 2024 · Here is something interesting, if I move the jpg file to my desktop and double click on it it opens just fine, but from any other folder it fails. EDIT: All the checks ended with "No component store corruption detected." and "The restore operation completed successfully."

When you input a file type in the "Make default association for file type" box, the Available Programs window remains blank. When you scroll down the file type list, there are no image file types available to select.
