Jocelyn Sheffield is the younger sister of Maxwell Sheffield and a minor recurring character on The Nanny. She is portrayed by Twiggy in her debut appearance, and in all subsequent appearances by Sophie Ward.

Twiggy (playing Max's sister Jocelyn) and Leigh Lawson (playing Lester the driver) are married in real-life.

In the last season Fran and Maxwell have twins; a boy and a girl named Jonah and Eve. Also, in the last episode, Fran, Maxwell, Grace, along with Niles, C.C., Sylvia, Morty, Yetta, Val, and Fred move from New York to California. The youngest daughter of Sylvia and Morty Fine, Fran was raised in Flushing, Queens with her older sister Nadine.

As an actress, she played Jocelyn Sheffield in The Nanny, she also played Elizabeth Hardy, the female lead in Barry Levinson 's Young Sherlock Holmes (1985), and in other feature film roles including in Cary Joji Fukunaga 's period drama Jane Eyre (2011), and Jane Sanger's horror feature, Swiperight (2020).

Just a few moments before the wedding, Maxwell's sister Jocelyn tells Fran that the social differences between her and Maxwell will ruin their marriage as it did to hers. At the ceremony, Miss Babcock gives it one last shot by impersonating the bride, but fails.

Jocelyn Sheffield : I'd like you all to meet Nigel Waters, the Duke of Salisbury. Fran Fine : Oh, I love your steak.
