Sep 24, 2023 · If you read chapter 235 it seems when they say “Gojo won” someone in the group says that, not the “narrator” who at the end of chapter 236 states that Gojo is dead. It seems we were trolled to believe he won because a character states he won and at the end of the chapter we get actual confirmation by the narrator that he really is dead.

No one else is in Sukuna's league, idk how we get to a satisfying conclusion from here without major ass pulls. The transition from 235 to 236 was done in a really poor manner. Some may have liked it, but personally I think the execution was really bad and kind of ruined what should have felt more like an epic conclusion (even if Gojo dies the same way). Very odd how Gojo's last thoughts really doesn't offer any emphasis on the living students.
