I'm currently a Research Scientist at ByteDance AI Lab in Mountain View, CA. My research interests are 3D Vision, Computational Camera & Display technologies. Previously I was a Founding Engineer at Bellus3D, that aims to bring 3D vision to mobile devices. I obtained PhD in Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz, supervised by Prof.James Davis.

I pursue this research agenda by working closely with research-practice partnerships and ed-tech companies, and through interdisciplinary collaborations with computer scientists, linguists, sociologists, and psychologists.
