May 24, 2019 · I did a similar swap. Mine is a YJ tub. I used a weld together bracket I got off ebay. Used the Astro van master cylinder. The stock CJ lines hook up to it like factory (although I used stainless steel lines). The longer adapter bracket means no mods for the brake rod.

Jul 13, 2024 · I did gap the plugs at 0.045 which seems to work good..... that coil is rated to be gapped at .050 for a Town and country van and the Jeep says .035 but I opened up the Gap to .045 for less pollution, better economy, and probably slightly more power, if anything , but it does run good on that.

Jul 17, 2011 · Well in my case, I lifted the jeep to put bigger tire on so I would have more ground clearance. This caused the angle of the drag link to change causing a bump steer issues. Putting 800# of cold steel on the front of your jeep and hitting a pothole on an icy road inducing an unexpected steering change is not pleasant.
