Need substitute J10 bed possibilities | Jeep Enthusiast Forums
Dec 29, 2009 · I just bought a 1978 J10 Quadratrac, 6.5 ' bed, to use as a work truck on the farm. The drivetrain and cab are in pretty good shape, but the bed of course is very rusty and shakes with every bump. I am new to these, but my research so far …
81 J10 Manual Transmission Options | Jeep Enthusiast Forums
Apr 17, 2009 · My 81 J10 came with a 4-speed, non-granny, transmission. I think it is a Borg-Warner T18, but I wouldn't swear to it. The question is, is there a 5-speed transmission that would be a bolt-in replacement for the 4-speed? With the 4-speed, I just run out of gears too soon, so a 5th-gear overdrive would be perfect.

J10 Axle Swap - Jeep Enthusiast Forums
Jul 24, 2007 · The J10 axles should be wide. The Wag axles are not. Pretty sure about that anyway. A great place to ask is the International Full Size Jeep Forum. I learned a lot there. I have an 89 Islander with the original 4.2L, then it has Wag TF727, NP208, D44 and AMC20. I'm just now getting finished with the swap and hope to have it wheeling soon.
1984 J10 Jeep - Jeep Enthusiast Forums
Sep 26, 2024 · Looking at the 8 lug wheels, I would say that would be a J20 (3/4 Ton), and not the J10 (1/2 Ton), unless dad upgraded axles. Looks solid, and hope you find someone to appreciate it. Truck is living where, and need to post over on Classifieds, once you …
Looking for Jeep J10 Bench Seat
Mar 5, 2015 · Are you saying that you have a Laredo j10? Chrome bumpers and wheels, door pulls, carpeted panel behind the seats, rollbar, brush guard? Those were the only models that could get the high back seats. The high back seats are my favorite, rare, and I search every week for them. I have the black set in the foreground of the pic with all the buckets.
J-10/20 Cummins Turbo Diesel Swap - Jeep Enthusiast Forums
Oct 2, 2006 · I'm guessing new front springs would be in order for the heavier I6 Diesel, new radiator and intercooler mounts on the core support, new motor mounts, pray I don't have to mess with the pan, new transmission crossmember, EFI tank with high pressure pump, modified J-truck harness for interfacing the vehicle electrical with the new engine charging system, tuner to eliminate all body control and ...
Waggie vs. J10/J20 axles? | Jeep Enthusiast Forums
Feb 2, 2010 · I had a chart of sorts that I bookmarked and now I can't find it. It had the WMS for the different axles. I know the Waggie axles are considered NT and the J10/J20's are considered WT. I think the Waggies are around 62.5 or 63" And I …
