Aau was a Force-sensitive Korban girl who lived on the planet Korba with her father, Abat. On Korba, Aau washed beasts near the entrance of a mine shaft where Abat worked by 19 BBY. After the Jedi Kratu visited the pair's home, they traveled to their respective workstations.

Aau's Song The world of Korba was once rich with Force-attuned kyber - the crystal at the heart of the Jedi lightsaber. The kyber's power was praised throughout the stars until an ancient order of the Sith poisoned it, leaving it corrupted with the blood-red glow of the dark side.

Kratu was a humanoid female Jedi who obtained kyber from the Korban miner Abat on the planet Korba. [1] At one point, Kratu traveled to Korba and discovered that Aau, Abat's daughter, could purify kyber crystals by singing.
