LED lighting is the most efficient roadway lighting system with fixtures available in multiple options. Cobra-head style fixtures are available in various wattage ranges. The 40W (36W— 41W) fixture replaced previous 70W HPS cobra-heads and is used almost exclusively for residential roadway lighting.
