Joint Base Anacostia–Bolling (JBAB) is a 905-acre (366 ha) military installation, located in Southwest Washington, D.C., [1] established on 1 October 2010 in accordance with congressional legislation implementing the recommendations of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Commission. [2]

Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) is the result of the consolidation of Naval Support Facility Anacostia (NSF) and Bolling Air Force Base (BAFB). Prior to 2010 the bases were adjoining, but separate military installations.

Bolling Medical Squadron (JBAB Clinic) is closed on all Federal holidays, designated family days, and every 2nd Thursday of each month. Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling does not provide emergency care services. The nearest Emergent Care Center is located on Joint Base Andrews and is available 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., 7 days a week.
