Apr 27, 2021 · Re: Any javelin owners out there? This is my first post here. I also just bought an 89 Javelin 396 fish and ski, 19.5', with a blown up 89 Johnson GT200. I found a parts motor and swapped powerheads with an 86 Johnson 225. To my surprise, it fired right up on the first crank. Anyway, my Javelin had been neglected so the seats and gelcoat are toast.

Apr 27, 2021 · Re: Any javelin owners out there? Yup 98 Javelin 409b with 225hp Johnson Venom, my fastest top speed was about 65mph still had some trim left to play with. Javelins are awesome, fast and stable boats. I cannot complain about the boat at all. Cheers Lester

Feb 14, 2006 · Got a 1999 Javelin Renegade 20, yes it has wood construction in it, I know first hand because I had to re-enforce and re-build the front deck when I installed my flat foot trolling motor tray...also when I spoke to the Stratos factory guy two years ago, I was told that they were changing to full composite sometime in 1999, but my boat was built early 1999....

Oct 27, 2017 · I just bought a 1995 Javelin bass boat. Model 367A. No floor issues at all. It has a 1995 115hp Evinrude Intuder engine with a 13 1/2 x 22 Raker SS prop. Hole shot was terrible. I put a SE300 Sport hydrofoil on it and it pops out of the water in seconds now.
