Jan 17, 2025 · PSA Region 10 Director Janeth Aves said the one percent slowdown in December is due to the lower inflation in food and non-alcoholic beverages. Aves said the inflation rate of cereal fell from 6.6 percent in November to 2.2 percent in December, while that of meat decreased from 2.1 percent to 1.3 percent.
