Jul 15, 2024 · This is about doing something with the Jamieson kit, an example of which I have been keen to get my hands on for some time, while also trying to make it slightly more believable!

Here we have a JAMIESON KIT for a LNER B1 4-6-0 LOCO. The brass kit, requires chassis, motor, wheels, smoke box door, chimney and one buffer to complete.

In original box, looks undisturbed but complete including instructions (complete means as supplied as body and chassis kit, wheel, motor, gears etc all needed to complete)

JAMIESON KIT L.M.S. 5XP - JUBILEE 00 Gauge This lot comprises of 2 Jamieson kits (1 is unopened) and my description below is from similar previous kits.The first kit is for the loco and tender bodies only. Most parts are sheet metal with some solid brass and whitemetal details. The second kit is for the main loco frames. There will be no wheels.

Jamieson 4mm scale sheet metal loco kit for LMS/BR (M) Stanier Class 5 4-6-0. Incuded are parts to build loco body, loco frames,cylinders & bogie & complete tender. To complete the loco you will require motor & gears of choice, valve gear and all loco & tender wheels.

I’m not sure if it’s all there, I don’t know much about this kit. From what I can see there is lots of nice turned brass parts, buffers, chimney etc with rolled sheet boiler.
