Jul 18, 2022 · Law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics and Crime Stoppers board members saluted Jajo in an Honor Walk as his body was wheeled through the McLaren Emergency Department on Thursday. Jajo is survived by his wife, Allison Jajo, who is also a Bay County Crime Stoppers Board member.

Samuel R. Jajo died from injuries he suffered in a July 12 incident. About 7 p.m. on July 12, Jajo was helping a friend take down a dead ash tree in the backyard of a residence. They were pulling down the tree via a rope-and-pulley system when the tree fell onto Jajo.

Samuel R. Jajo, a U.S. Army reservist and Consumers employee, died July 14. On July 15, Jajo donated his organs, extending the lives of people he never met. Hundreds lined hospital hallways to pay tribute to the fallen man and honor his gift.
