Nov 15, 2009 · The Jabiru accelerates smartly and is soon up to 70 KIAS, at which time you can retract the flaps. At 2760 rpm (max is 3300), the J230 climbed out on a warmer-than-standard day (from near sea level) at 80 knots and 650 fpm.
This supplement is presented here to give new Jabiru pilots important information on the flying and control characteristics of the J230. The J230-SP uses traditional rudder pedals for yaw control (see Figure 10-1). The rudder pedals are also linked to the nose gear for steering on the ground.
