Maharaja Surajmal was born on 13 February 1707, to Raja Shri Badan Singh and Rani Devki in a Hindu Jat family of Sinsinwar clan of in Bharatpur Kingdom (present-day Rajasthan, India). He was the 21st descendant of Sobha Singh of Bayana. [16] The Hindu Kingdom reached its prosperous state under Maharaja Surajmal. [3] [17] [18]
