Apr 5, 2018 · So on my bench is a JVC JA-S44 which was brought in as defective. Sure, it doesn't produce any sound. But otherwise, there is nothing faulty about the unit. The one oddity is that the current output is higher than stated in the schematics, roughly 46v instead of 41.8.
