May 9, 2024 · Japan Tobacco’s revenue increased by 11.3 percent to ¥740.3 billion ($4.75 billion), year-on-year, in the first quarter of 2024. Core revenue at constant currency exchange rates rose by 5.7 percent to ¥676.7 billion while adjusted operating profit at constant exchange rates increased by 3.4 percent to ¥231 billion.
