The Taylor J.T.1 Monoplane is a British fixed-wing aircraft design for a homebuilt aircraft, developed in the 1950s by J.F. Taylor. [2] The J.T.1 Monoplane was designed by John Taylor in 1956 and the prototype (registered G-APRT) was built by him at Ilford, Essex between 1958-1959. It flew for the first time on 4 July 1959 [3] at White Waltham.

The Parker Jeanie's Teenie, or JT-1, is a single-seat, single-engine sport aircraft first built in the United States in 1967 and marketed for homebuilding. [1] . It was featured on the cover of a Popular Mechanics magazine issue in May, 1968. The caption on the cover read, "Build This 'Flying Volkswagen' For Less Than $600!."

It is a modified Jeenie Teenie. The engine was a 1,500 CC Transporter Volkswagen conversion. Span 21 ft (6.40 m), length 12 ft (3.66 m), weight 360 lb (163 kg) empty. I flew the plane for 6 years before selling it to a person from California, USA. The second owner flew the plane from Calaveras, California, to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA, in 1979.
