J5 is a design and consulting firm that partners with healthcare, government, and non-profit organizations to navigate transformation and meaningful change. Our approach is structured around three interconnected specializations:

Calgary International Airport — J5 Design
The beauty of the building and the way technology and security and more just blends in is gorgeous. The friendliness and joy of staff, unencumbered by broken processes and clunky systems, lets that “legendary hospitality” of Calgary breathe life into the building. Often great design is invisible.

Engaging a broad range of clinicians, people, and communities, J5 worked with Alberta Health Services to design a cancer diagnosis program that is inclusive and meets the needs of providers and Albertans in all communities.
John Bio — J5 Design
In addition to his J5 work, he sits on the board of SAIT’s School of Hospitality and Tourism, Gordie Howe Centre for Alzheimer's Research and Education Society and provides mentorship to students of the University of Victoria’s MBA in Sustainable Innovation.
