The SuperAV is an 8x8 wheeled amphibious vehicle. It is powered by an Iveco Cursor 13 6L turbocharged multifuel diesel engine coupled with a ZF 7HP902 gearbox (seven forward and one reverse). It has a top speed of 105 km/h (65 mph) on land and 10 km/h (6.2 mph) on water.

The SUPERAV 8×8 is equipped with a 6 cylinder 700hp FPT engine, Allison transmission, proprietary H-type driveline, independent hydro-pneumatic McPherson type suspension, 16.00 R20 wheels and is propelled in navigation by two independent propellers.

Since then, the company has developed several 6x6 and 8x8 armoured vehicles for land and amphibious operations. Iveco Defence Vehicles’ portfolio of logistic and tactical trucks covers a wide range from van to heavy equipment transporters, capable of moving loads in excess of 75t.

After the joint success with BAE Systems of the original SUPERAV 8×8 Amphibious Vehicle in the US Marine Corps ACV program, Iveco Defence Vehicles has added a land-oriented version to its portfolio, designed for integration with an unmanned turret and an extensive mission payload.
