Is there any difference between "That's OK." and "It's OK."
Aug 17, 2008 · It seems to me that the difference between “That’s OK” and “It’s OK”, though slight, can sometimes be important. The two expressions are not always interchangeable. That is a demonstrative pronoun, and refers to a specific thing.

Jul 27, 2011 · I would say it's typically 'That's OK with me' and 'That's OK by me'. That would be the same if you used fine instead: 'That's fine with me', 'That's fine by me'. But if you used all right (or alright), I think for becomes more common and by becomes uncommon. In Alx's example, the OK used more like all right. Does that make sense?

Nov 15, 2013 · It's not the "ok," it's the verb "to sound." Examples: It sounds like gibberish to me. It sounds ridiculous to me. It sounds perfect to me. We don't say it sounds for. Why do we use it that way? ... we just do. That's English.

Apr 30, 2009 · I've used both "It's fine with me" and "It's fine by me." I consider them the same, but perhaps there is a subtle difference in certain contexts. If someone is asking for your approval, you could emphasize the "me" in the phrase "by me." (Perhaps they need to leave work early to go to an appointment or to pick up a sick child.

Veo que sos de España, asi que voy a escribir en castellano xD. La diferencia para mi, es que al decir IT'S OK es como un "esta bien" en castellano. THAT'S OK me suena mas a un "eso/aquello esta bien". Esto es lo que a mi me parece, pero seria mejor si un nativo nos lo explica. Saludos.
