Istaroth is a god with control over time and wind and is one of the four shining shades of the Primordial One per The Byakuyakoku Collection, Vol. 2 - Before Sun and Moon. She is known by a plethora of titles, including the God of Moments, the God of Time, Master of Time or Ruler of Time, Kairos, the Thousand Winds of Time (or simply the ...
The Goddess of Time and Wind Istaroth : r/Genshin_Lore - Reddit
Oct 10, 2022 · None of the names listed in ToT is Istaroth, so either Ishtaroth is only an alias, or Istaroth is unrelated to Phanes. Though there is a Paimon and an Amosdeus in that list. Worth noting is that in real life, Istaroth as a name originated from Ishtar, the Akkadian name of Inanna, the Summerian goddess of love, war, and fertility.
Paimon is Istaroth (featuring Venti and Mona's Master!) - Reddit
Feb 19, 2024 · This perception of Istaroth is supported in the Ars Goetia as well as in Genshin; Paimon is everywhere. The statue’s moniker is “Thousand Armed, Hundred Eyed”, which is a reference to real-life Guanyin, but I take note of the “thousand”, a theme with Istaroth. The Sacred Sakura was planted with the help of Istaroth.
The "Hierarchy Hypothesis" reveals Istaroth’s true identity#1 - Reddit
In addition, "Istaroth" is used as the ruby for "higher power" in the line "Ei" in Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II. This is the first time that Istaroth is explicitly mentioned (for some reason, the first time is the other way around). At this time, Istaroth seemed to have put some kind of power into the Sacred Sakura tree seed prepared by ...
Istaroth and her implication on the future of Genshin Impact
Feb 22, 2022 · The knowledge of Istaroth (and the fact Ei can't mention the shade by name) seems the biggest new information. Unfortunately it's hidden behind a damn translators note. What is that saying? Is it saying in the Chinese it's hinted at that Ei means Istaroth (how? a pun? a similar character to one used in Istaroths name?) without mentioning her name?

Jan 24, 2022 · Istaroth is "the Sun" meanwhile Paimon is "the Moon". why paimon is the moon meanwhile istaroth is the sun? do you guys remember the first time we met paimon? yes at the Beach near Starsnatch Cliff. paimon was drifted to the sea and luckily stucked to the MC's bait when the MC were fishing. the place we first met paimon is perfectly match with ...
Small Note about Venti and Istaroth : r/Genshin_Lore - Reddit
I don't think that there's any indication that Istaroth was deleted from Irminsul. Actually, considering how terrified Enkanomiya was of even saying or writing her true name out despite otherwise loving her, it might be the exact opposite: Celestia is trying to make Istaroth an unperson by manually destroying all evidence about them and is constantly actively scanning the Irminsul to find and ...
Was "Istaroth", deity of time, actually associated with the wind?
May 2, 2023 · Istaroth is very close to a demon name as well, Astaroth. At first their name was Ishtar, and well, it looks like ultimately they mashed those two names together. There’s some interesting information about them that could line up with our Istaroth there if …
Could Paimon be Istaroth? : r/Genshin_Lore - Reddit
Not only does this give explanation for Paimon seemingly being unaffected by the stoppage of time (I make this theory on the basis that Istaroth was in fact the one who helped Ei in her story quest, helping Makoto send the sacred sakura seed to Ei, planting the seed back in a time that allows it to grow into the tree that we see today, thus ...

Feb 16, 2022 · Therefore Istaroth might be one of the moon sisters with the time power over the moments, and Asmoday or the unknown god is probably another moon sister with the power over Space Time. As you know the traveler went 500 years into the future after being trapped in Asmodays space cube, so she should be another moon sister but with power over time ...
