Princess Issa Carathon was a young princess played by Stella Grace Fitzgerald in A Child of Fire and The Scargiver. Known as the Chalice, the Redeemer, and Pueri Salvatoris (the child savior), she was expected to end wars and bring about a new age of compassion for the Realm.

She was assigned as the bodyguard to Motherworld princess Issa, who was expected to usher in an end to the Imperium's conquests. Issa and her parents were assassinated, with Balisarius subsequently declaring himself regent and continuing the Imperium's conquests.
