Along with Yad Vashem, the Israel Museum is one of the two most extraordinary museums in the world that I have visited, exceeding the Louvre, the Metropolitan, and the National Gallery of Art in DC (other museums I hold in high regard, even if I had a very awful time at the Louvre).
