Isca Ales, Court Farm Barn, Holcombe Village, Devon EX7 0JT. This began as Gargoyles Brewery, but in 2009 changed its name to Isca Ales. Brewing commenced in November 2005 on plant previously used at Country Life Brewery.

Established in a disused milking parlour in 2009, Isca has developed a large range of ales. Seasonal and special brews are often available at beer festivals, including outside of the region.

Jul 4, 2019 · Started brewing in November 2005 initially as Gargoyles Brewery. The 3BBL plant was previously used at Country Life Brewery. Following a change of ownership in 2009, the name change to the current name started. We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website.

In 2009, it was taken over by Andy Oakes and renamed Isca Ales Ltd, but both names are still used. The range of beers is being developed.

Isca Ales. Born in the boarder lands of South Cheshire and North Shropshire in a small village called Betley which is on the edge of the county of Staffordshire.
