IRIS is the State of Alaska system for accounting, financial, procurement, payroll, and human resource management functions. The IRIS Financial/Procurement (FIN/PRO) and Vendor Self Service (VSS) modules of IRIS went live in 2015.

ESS is available to all active State employees and may be accessed via the IRIS website or at the following URL: https://iris-ess.alaska.gov. To login to ESS, employees will use their 6-digit Employee ID and enterprise password.

Jul 1, 2015 · Important Information for Vendors doing Business with the State of Alaska. On July 1, 2015 the State of Alaska will implement IRIS – a collection of integrated software modules that handle finance, procurement, payroll and human resource management processes.

An FD is used to remove property from the IRIS active register. An FD can be utilized when approval is given by the Property Management Office (PMO) via an ETARS to discard broken or unserviceable property by Departments.
