You can unlock this pet while training Invention via siphoning, disassembly, or making gizmos. Skilling pets CAN be obtained whilst training on portables, using skillchompas, or the Crystallise Seren spell.

While Invention is a skill that incorporates many different mechanics, the primary training method is to augment equipment, level the equipment level by using the augmented item (s), and then disassemble or siphon the items for experience.
