Click the Microsoft Word icon (or another Microsoft 365 or Office icon) in the Launchpad. The What's New window opens automatically when you launch Word. Click Get Started to start activating.

As you're getting your Microsoft 365 business subscription set up, you'll want to download and install your Microsoft 365 apps, like Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint, on your PC or Mac. Go to microsoft365.com and sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.

Double-click either the Setup32.exe to install the 32-bit version, or Setup64.exe to install the 64-bit version to begin the offline installation (If you're not sure which version is right for you, see Choose the 64-bit or 32-bit version of Office.)

Select Insert > Icons. Use the Search box near the top left corner to look for the icon you want or browse by scrolling. Choose an icon and then click Insert at the lower right. Insert multiple icons at the same time by clicking each of them before clicking Insert. Rotate, color, and resize your icon by following the instructions here.

After you've signed up for Microsoft 365, you and your employees can install Office apps. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center, and choose Office software . Under Language , choose the language you want, and then choose Install .

Open the Office folder in the virtual drive, and then select either the Setup32.exe to install the 32-bit version of Microsoft 365, or Setup64.exe to install the 64-bit version to begin the offline installation.
