Although our tearoom and garden are no longer open to the public, we still offer wildlife hides and whole cakes. Our hide for photographing badgers and possibly pine marten. Available all year and is limited so book in advance! Space for photographers. Bookings only with Speyside Wildlife.

Inshriach Nursery is set in a natural birch wood. It is an alpine nursery of international repute, specialising in Himalayan plants. The plants are laid out in beds and there is also a display garden which features scree, peat and bog habitats.

The Nursery is situated in one of the loveliest and most splendid parts of the Highlands, surrounded by the magnificent scenery of the Cairngorm Mountains. Here you can enjoy a walk through the wild garden and look at the variety of plants we have to offer.

Inshriach Nursery in Aviemore, Scotland, nestles serenely at the foothills of Cairngorm Mountains, and this family run business which was established in 1938, is still using the good old fashioned production method of planting and growing all our magnificent plants.

Inshriach Nursery is to be found just 4 miles south of Aviemore on the B970, towards Kingussie. Located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands it is a fantastic place for outdoor activities, sightseeing and watching wildlife – summer or winter!
