This document provides the shuttle bus schedule between IITG and Panbazar from Monday to Friday and on weekends/holidays. During the week there are multiple trips in both directions between 8 AM and 9 PM, with stops at IITG, Jalukbari, Adabari, Maligaon, Kamakhya Gate, Bharalumukh, and Panbazar.

IIT Guwahati is located in north-east of India. River Brahmaputra separates IITG (in the north) from rest of the city (in the south). As a result it offers a free bus service for faculty, non-academic staff and students to travel into the city of Guwahati, to an area called Panbazar.

To reach the institute from the city, there is an Institute bus service that runs regularly to and from the city. The bus starts from the city at the stoppage of RBI and Guwahati Railway Station Gate. The bus timings are available here: IITG Institute Bus Timings.

IITG buses “ green valley” frequently run from a stand point ( very near to Guwahati railway station ) to the campus ( at the opposite bank of Brahmaputra) and it’s 100 % free for IITG students, freshers & guests.
