The IBRO Africa Regional Committee (IBRO-ARC) is composed of elected voluntary scientists from the continent of Africa focused on supporting and promoting neuroscience in the African region based on the region’s specific needs and opportunities.

The IBRO Africa Regional Committee (ARC) is an IBRO Regional Committee composed of elected voluntary leadership that focuses on supporting and promoting neuroscience in the African region based on its specific needs and conditions. Our activities include:

IBRO is represented regionally by five Regional Committees: the Africa Regional Committee (IBRO-ARC), the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee (IBRO-APRC), the Latin America Regional Committee (IBRO-LARC), the Pan-Europe Regional Committee (IBRO-PERC), and the US/Canada Regional Committee (IBRO-USCRC).

As evidenced by previous workshops the collaborations between IBRO and ILAE have been most productive, relevant and exciting (eg IBRO/ILAE Epilepsy school in Cape town, South Africa in 2015; IBRO/ILAE School on Epilepsy and Parasitosis in Dakar,
