42A, S1 Rep here. IPPS-A is bugged on that part. All day yesterday and still today, attachments are errored. Waiting for further information. But it’s definitely down today, so IPPS-A processing will most likely be on hold for SM’s with missing attachments or starting a new PAR.

May 9, 2023 · Absence Request - Request & Authority for Leave (must have control number if reporting+/- 60 days early w/ CDRs approval) This is done through IPPS-A, on the landing page select the tile that says ‘Request Absence’ and go through the steps. Once complete and signed off on, download the form and attach it alongside the other documents listed.

Mar 2, 2023 · When signing DD Form 93, it is recommended that Soldiers use IPPS-A URL: https://hr.ippsa.army.mil and use their CAC to digitally sign the form. DS Logon does not work to sign the DD Form 93, and IPPS-A URL: https://my.ippsa.army.mil is generating challenges to many Self-Service Users.

Mar 5, 2023 · As many users have stated, this is in fact a DNS issue. my.ippsa.army.mil will resolve with DNS that has the address stored.

May 16, 2024 · VALIDATE your board preferences in IPPS-A until you get selected. This is crucial as that mileage indicates how far you’re willing to travel for your promotion. Note: promotion to E5 is not automatic. Depending upon who your command is (I.e. the 103rd) they may automatically board you with you knowing.

Sep 16, 2023 · Commenting for more visibility, I’ve just run into the same issue. Projected assignment dropped off my talent profile, and my Soldier Work-center says “Cancel Reason: ML STRENGTH MANAGEMENT DECISION B.”

Nov 15, 2023 · I ran into this problem because I was putting the PTDY days at the end and IPPS-A was throwing a fit about how I didn't have a valid PCS order or something. Had to put the PTDY days up front, then I go to chargeable leave in conjunction with a PCS that runs up to my report date. All approved by my losing unit. That made the IPPS-A errors go away.

Jul 20, 2023 · All I did was walk over to S1, handed a copy of my certification to him, and he input it into the system. Populated on my STP the following day. So the reason I recommend going to G1 is because your S1 seems to be incompetent. Your G1 hopefully has learned how to use IPPS-A and should be able to add the classes.
