Master Ip was born in such an age and he was extremely fond of Chinese martial art. With talent and persistence as well as teaching by famous teachers（CHAN Wah-shun at the beginning and LEUNG Pik, son of LEUNG Chan later）, Master Ip's achievement could be envisaged.

Ip Ching, the second son of the renowned Wing Chun master Ip Man, passed away during the Lunar New Year celebrations in 2020. Although not as widely knon as his father, Ip Ching was a respected martial artist in his own right and played an important role in preserving and promoting the Wing Chun style.

Ip Ching is the youngest son of the late Grandmaster Ip Man, and was born in Foshan, China in 1936. Many martial art masters lived in Foshan while Ip Ching was growing up, and he started his Wing Chun training when he was about 11 to 12 years old under the close guidance of his father.

Since his retirement, Grandmaster Ip Ching has been invited all around the world to teach his Wing Chun and to talk about his late father's teachings. Practitioners of Wing Chun came from across the globe to attend his classes in Hong Kong to train with him and his students.
