Dec 17, 2017 · IL-2 CloD is most hardcore for me. Looks like it is in the middle between old and new IL-2 games, but aircrafts are very good detailed. If you are new in flightsimulators, you can try Simulator Battles in WarThunder. It is free and it is close to the old IL-2 1946.

Oct 7, 2022 · 1C is no longer interested in "IL-2 1946"... but 1C keeps it as residual income (for example: IL-2 Sturmovik™: 1946 on GOG.com). This is how could end up our two more "modern" sims, IL2CoD and IL2GB: they'd be representing a residual income only, and they wouldn't be really commercially exploited... only nursed by nostalgic enthusiasts.
