IL-1β promotes Th17 differentiation by inducing alternative
Oct 6, 2015 · Here, we show that in human Treg cells IL-1β promotes excision of FOXP3 exon 7. FOXP3 is not only expressed by Treg cells but is also transiently expressed when naïve T cells differentiate into...
Role of IL-1 Beta in the Development of Human TH17 Cells: …
Here we report that exaggerated IL-1β secretion due to NLPR3 mutations affects the IL-23/IL-17 axis in CAPS patients, providing further evidence of the role of IL-1β in T H 17 differentiation.
IL-23 and IL-1β Drive Human Th17 Cell Differentiation and …
Mar 6, 2018 · Th17 cells differentiated without CD28 were not anergic: they showed robust proliferation and maintained Th17 cytokine production following restimulation. Interleukin (IL)-23 and IL-1β promoted glucose uptake and increased glycolysis.
NLRP3-mediated IL-1β in regulating the imbalance between Th17 …
Aug 13, 2024 · All data strongly suggest that the NLRP3 inflammatory influence Th17 cell development and the conversion of Treg cells into Th17 cells through IL-1β, disrupting the Th17/Treg balance and...
Critical regulation of early Th17 cell differentiation by IL-1 ...
In the current study, we examined the role of IL-1 in murine Th17 cell regulation. Our results demonstrate that IL-1 signaling in T cells is required for the early Th17 differentiation in vitro and in vivo. IL-1 regulates the expression of IRF4 and RORγt and overexpression of these two factors results in IL-1-independent Th17 differentiation.
IL-23 and IL-1b were sufficient to differentiate Th17 cells, and addition of TGF-b did not further enhance IL-17 production (Figure 1B). Both IL-23 and IL-1b were necessary, as neither induced Th17 cells in absence of the other (Figure 1B).
Interleukin-1 and IL-23 induce innate IL-17 production from ... - PubMed
Aug 21, 2009 · Th17 cells, CD4 (+) T cells that secrete interleukin-17 (IL-17), are pathogenic in autoimmune diseases and their development and expansion is driven by the cytokines IL-6, TGF-beta, IL-21, IL-1, and IL-23. However, there are also innate sources of IL-17.
IL-1β promotes Th17 differentiation by inducing alternative
Oct 6, 2015 · Here, we show that in human Treg cells IL-1β promotes excision of FOXP3 exon 7. FOXP3 is not only expressed by Treg cells but is also transiently expressed when naïve T cells differentiate into Th17 cells. Forced splicing of FOXP3 into FOXP3Δ2Δ7 strongly favored Th17 differentiation in vitro.
Pathogen-induced human TH17 cells produce IFN-γ or IL-10 and …
Apr 1, 2012 · IL-6, IL-23 and IL-1β contributed to T H 17 differentiation induced by both pathogens, but IL-1β was essential in C. albicans -induced T H 17 differentiation to counteract the...
Two types of human Th17 cells with pro- and anti-inflammatory ...
Sep 28, 2015 · Th17 cells are known to be crucial mediators of autoimmune inflammation. However, two distinct types of Th17 cells have recently been described, which differed in their ability to coproduce IL-10 or IFN-g due to differential polarizations requirements for IL-1b.
