Jul 9, 2006 · In 1959 there was a special "Toll Road Tractor" version of the DCOF 405 [what is commonly known as the Emeryville] . That truck had a NRTO 335 [ which is the old 5.125 bore block] as the standard engine and the 375 HP version of the 817 as the optional engine.

Feb 15, 2015 · My first trucks were gas burners, but my first Diesel was a 1963 DCOF 405 which I personally drove over a million miles. Is anyone else on the board into this size truck?

Aug 28, 2006 · Please share your pics of the BIG IH trucks here, Emeryvilles, VCO's R-Line's, etc. I thought it would be a good idea for folks to have a spotter's guide if they are in search of that elusive holy grail of every IH owner's collection.

In addition to the dual-drive DCOF-405 International made the trailing-axle tandem DCOT-405 and the lightweight versions DCOF-405L, with Cummins mid-range diesel, and VCOF-405L with International V8 gasoline engines.
