Feb 20, 2018 · From being a Dive Bomber, to a dedicated Night Fighter, to a composite "Mistel" flying bomb being controlled by a parasite Bf-109 (or FW-190), to a regular level bomber, the Ju-88 did it all. Some even had fake glass painted on the solid nose cap to represent it as a bomber type, when it was a true fighter version.

This Ju-88 by ICM is the first 1/48 kit of this famous bomber to be released since Dragon’s Ju-88 series was released 25 years ago, and the only Ju-88A-5 ever released in 1/48 (they also did it in 1/72).

The Junkers Ju 88 was a German World War II Luftwaffe twin-engine multirole combat aircraft. Junkers Flugzeug- und Motorenwerke (JFM) designed the plane in the mid-1930s as a so-called Schnellbomber ("fast bomber") that would be too fast for fighters of its era to intercept.

Aug 9, 2019 · Based on photos and drawings I feel that ICM has done a very credible job of reproducing the Ju 88 seats and general cockpit layout. They have included enough detail in plastic to make the model feel busy without going overboard.
