Dec 27, 2016 · Question for all the IBEW members on here. In a nutshell, people have told me I'd get in trouble in the union (or at least with its members) because I walk too fast, work too quickly, and take issue with slackers. Is this true?

But whether or not you can actually become a permanent dues paying member at a different local again would be determined by that locals rules committee.

Average hours per week for Union Electrician?
Mar 27, 2023 · I really like the work, I like working with my hands. But the long hours put a strain on my relationship I’m just wondering if the electrical union is the same way with working like nonstop 6 10s and 7 12s or if it’s more common to work 40 -50 hour work weeks?
