May 6, 2022 · Once you journey out of an apprenticeship (an IBEW apprenticeship) you can travel and work off book to anywhere in the country where there is work. But whether or not you can actually become a permanent dues paying member at a different local again would be determined by that locals rules committee.

Mar 27, 2023 · I really like the work, I like working with my hands. But the long hours put a strain on my relationship I’m just wondering if the electrical union is the same way with working like nonstop 6 10s and 7 12s or if it’s more common to work 40 -50 hour work weeks?
