Since 1916, IBEW Local 82 members have built and maintained the facilities and electrical systems that provide power to businesses, manufacturers, hospitals, schools, and homes in the Dayton-Miami Valley Region. Our wiremen are there to bring our communities back after devastating storms.

IBEW 82 APPRENTICESHIP
IBEW 82 JATC Electrical Apprenticeship . The members of IBEW Local 82, through joint labor-management partnerships, invest thousands of dollars every year to train the Miami Valley’s next generation of Electrical Tradespeople. Training is tuition-free. Apprentices earn union-scale, competitive wages with full benefits packages.

Building Dayton For 100 Years - IBEW Local 82
Chartered on January 20, 1916, IBEW Local 82 has built Dayton for the past century, training each new generation of electrical workers through our Local 82 JATC Electrical Training Center. Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley proclaimed June 25, 2016 as IBEW Local 82 Day in Dayton.
