Jan 1, 2020 · Intel i7-7700 16GB RAM (2*8GB 2400mhz) What would be the most powerful GPU one could get, that wouldn't cause a bottleneck between said GPU and the i7-7700? Edit: Just remembered the existence of size and clearance, my PC is …
Running Windows 11 on my unsupported i7 7700k works fine :)
Oct 5, 2021 · Late as hell but it is literally only to sate hardware makers deranged demand that consumers buy new hardware constantly. There is no underlying technology reason that kaby lake isn't supported other than them trying to force upgrades (Which is ridiculous, the 7700 is still a perfectly fine CPU; It's not even really low end yet.)

i7 7700 + rtx 2080 : r/nvidia - Reddit
Feb 5, 2019 · i7-7700 is a great CPU for an RTX 2080. If you want to max out your framerate at 1440p/144Hz then you would need to upgrade to an 9600K or 9700K but that needs a new motherboard too. Both would show improvements to framerate though. This would cost another $400-600 for the cpu & mobo.
How bad of a bottleneck would an RTX 3060 be with an i7 7700?
Jul 26, 2021 · I've been using an i7 7700 with a GTX 1060 for about 4 or so years now, and I'm thinking of upgrading to an RTX 3060 card. From what I found, it would definitely bottleneck to some degree. I'm just curious how bad of a bottleneck it would be and if getting that GPU with my current system is a good idea.
Rx 6600 with an i7 7700? : r/buildapc - Reddit
Aug 12, 2022 · a used 7700 for 150 is a bad deal. it barely makes a difference and modern cpus are much faster. whether it will bottleneck or not depends on how cpu heavy a game is in terms of cpu single core performance and how many cores it will use/want.
I7 7700k with a RTX 4070 : r/buildapc - Reddit
Jun 22, 2023 · I have just done it, i7 7700k, 32 GB ram and rtx 4070. I went from 40 fps low/medium to 60 fps ultra 1440p in starfield. All other game tested are above 55 fps in ultra 1440p (baldur gate 3, cyberpunk, hogward legacy). As my best screen is only 60 fps, I wont change my CPU for now.
(Probably) unpopular opinion: i7 7700k is still good enough in
Had the I7 7700K for 6 years till I got a new complete build (I9 1300K). It is a decent chip. But no matter how high you can OC it, it will still bottleneck the GPU tremendously. War Thunder is not a game to brag about when it comes to its demands for new hardwares of today. An underperforming PC can run that optimally.
